Avalon Cuban Fishing Centers is a 16-year-old organization specializing in fly fishing and diving off the southern coast of Cuba. An Italian company, Avalon is owned by Giuseppe Omegna and Filippo Invernizzi. Since 1993, it has had the opportunity to manage and protect a huge area in Cuba, encompassing the entire chain of islands on the south coast that stretches from Isla de la Juventud all the way to the end of Jardines de la Reina. All three marine parks on the south coast of Cuba where Avalon fishes are protected by law. No commercial fishing or tourist activities other than fishing and diving are permitted. Thanks to anglers and various environmental organizations, the fishing in Avalon’s areas is improving every year. Guests here have an exclusive Marine Park reserved for themselves. |
