ADDITIONAL COMMENTS AND/OR OUTFITTER/BOOKING AGENT REBUTTAL
I just came back from one of the most wonderful trips I have ever had. During the month of August I have had the pleasure to go at Wolloston Lake Lodge for four days of fishing. The lodge is located in the North East part of the Canadian Region of Manitoba.

It is placed on the shore of the huge lake Wollaston that is home of giant pike, trout, walleye, and grayling.

Fishing there was unbelievable with very hot action mainly for pike. I caught a 40 and 42 ½ inch pike plus many 30-35 inchers. But there I saw really alligators, not pike. An American fisherman caught a 50 inch pike and 40 plus inch pikes were caught days by the guest of the lodge.

The last season, that is only three months, more than 52,000 pikes were caught and of them 966 were from 40 to 43 inches, 421 from 43 to 50 inches and 51 over 50 inches. About the other fishes were caught 6,294 walleye, 3,216 lake trout and 2,669 arctic grayling, not bad.

In August the average number of pike per person a day was 15-20, but in June this number can be very high with more than 60-70 fish a person per day.

Lake trout fishing and walleye fishing was very nice, lots of fish, but none in big size. Any way I have spent very few time fishing for them, the "big pike-fever" was on me.

The lodge is surely the most beautiful and well organized that I have visited in all this my years fishing around the world. I have traveled from Africa to Asia, from Europe to America and Caribbean and I have never found a lodge so professional. Everything is accurately prepared. The 25 boats were all new Lund Pro V 18 foot with 80 HP outboard, the meals were super excellent, like in the most renowned restaurant, all the guides know very well all the areas and every summer spent two weeks at guide school to prepare for the season.

What I have to say more if you like pike fishing, (but also walleye, trout and grayling) Wollastone Lake Lodge is the place where to fish absolutely, at least once in your life.

The price for a five day, four day fishing is US $2,695 and everything is included, also the private flight from Winnipeg to the lodge. The only options there are liquor, tackle, gratuities, daily fly-out).
