of Catch Made: |
3 king salmon up to 25 pounds, 35 sockeye up to 12 pounds, 70 rainbow up to 21 inches, 30 char up to 24 inches, 10 grayling up to 18 inches. |

of Fishing: |
Fished from a jet boat for arctic char, the rest was wade fishing for the other species. |

Used: |
6 weight fly rod with floating and sink tip lines. 9 weight fly rod with floating and 15 sink tip. |

Used: |
Grayling rainbow trout: #14 caddis dry, #14 adams dry, #6 conehead sculpin, Char: #4 fry streamer imitations. King salmon: #2 yarn flies. Sockeye: small #8 green flash flies. |

of Hatches: |
Dry fly action was better in the afternoons. You are back to the lodge by 5 pm. |

Conditions: |
Fabulous weather. Highs 75 to 80 degrees (day), lows 45 to 50 degrees (night). Little or no wind. Strong winds could be a problem. You travel every day by boat. Crystal clear water. |

No major delays, got there and back pretty much on time, just snacks for food. |

on the Trip: |
I traveled solo. Got paired with a snorer, but we worked out a solution. Some days I was paired with bait fisherman, had to work around it. I needed a fly fishing buddy. |

of the Trip: |
Incredible scenary, all staff were warm and friendly, fishing and food was excellent. Abundant wildlife (bear, moose, etc.) |

They provide all gear if you wish, makes it easy to pack and travel. They pack and freeze fish for you at no extra charge. A real bargain. |
