Snapshot of your experience with products of this sort:
I've lived in the tropics most of my life and I've worn many many different pairs of sunglasses. My current stock includes Maui Jims, Bolle, Pollar Bears Eyes,a $25 pair from a fishing store and a $15 pair from Wal-Mart. all except the Bolles are polarized.

09/07/06 -09/19/06
Place of Test:
Yellowstone rivers and streams. Central Oregon Lake.
Test Condition:
Bright and sunny ; dreary and rainy; late evening.
Relevant related equipment or products:
Comes with a neoprene case.
Your experience with the product:
The glasses fit flush on my face resting on my cheek bones. With the cooler fall weather, my face didnt sweat where the glasses touched but I would be leery of this on hot summer days. While there is a build in molded nose bridge, it didnt work that well for me as the glasses were really too big for my face. The wrap around style kept any side light out. The galsses did not shift around as I casted. The optics were very good, I could see the fish and the structure very well. They were very good in the bright light, less effective towards evening given the Deepwater Gray coloring.
Qualities you liked about the product:
Great optics, strong frame, wrap around feature keeping the side lighting out. Quality was excellent. They are a very cost effective set of quality fishing glasses.
Qualities you didn't liked about the product:
I found the glasses a little to heavy and they didnt fit my face very well. Although I like the binder effect of wrap arounds, I'm not a fan of wrap around style glasses as they give me a headache. That being said , the website www.fishermaneyewear.com shows many frames to choose from and I'm sure I would easily be to find a pair to fit me.
Summary Comments
Fisherman Eyewear has a wide distribution network. I'd go out and buy a pair of these with a copper lens in a style that fit my face. In looking over the web site, I see that they charge $129 for single-vision prescription glasses. I' get my husband a pair.
