Subscriber Fred Miller gives a thumbs-up to a two-day redfishing trip this past November, handled for him on the west side of the Mississippi south of Venice, Louisiana, by Flywater Expeditions (www.flywaterexpeditions.com). He says strong winds and off-color water made the fishing difficult but everyone in his party had shots at big reds each day. He landed his personal best Louisiana redfish on this trip, he says – a 37 pounder.

Miller gives the cost of this fishing trip as $600 per day for two people. He elected to stay at the Bourbon New Orleans, a downtown hotel. He recommends his experience to fellow subscribers.
