I’d like to pass along the name of a booking agency in Wyoming who was instrumental in helping plan me plan a recent fishing trip to the state. The agency is Roam-In-Wyoming (*), owned by Tom and Karen Clayson. They are a local travel agency with a speciality in fishing trips.
Roam In-Wyoming offers individually tailored travel packages, put together from extensive computerized lists of places, experiences, events and accommodations. The Claysons vow that all lodgings, restaurants and guides they recommend have been personally checked out by them within the last calendar year. The charge for their services is $245 for a one week itinerary and $330 for two weeks. More extensive itinerary fees can be arranged in advance.
Trip possibilities include rental car, drive around itineraries that allow you to sample many waters; or single stop stays in lodges, hotels, dude ranches. A big advantage of this company is Tom Clayson’s personal love of trout fishing. He’s done his homework on countless streams and personally checked out lots of guides and outfitters. If Wyoming is a new state to you, I strongly suggest you consider the services of this firm. John Holt.
