Fair - Highlights of the Trip:
While the bonefishing was spotty, with wind and tides conspiring against us, the barracuda fishing along the NW point beach at the end of the "road" was spectacular. They come in over the flats to the various channels and the beachfront from about half to 1/8 tide, either incoming or outgoing. They pursue a rapidly moving fly or lure with gusto. We were told by a man who walked up from the new condos that he had been wading in the evening (bait fishing for the table) and had two tiger sharks come in very close. Since two days later he stole a box of lures from us (returned), I am not sure that he wasn't simply trying to keep us from fishing "his" water. - Would you recommend this trip to a friend?:
