We love to fish do it yourself bonefish, so this trip was fun. I was warned that this was a physically demanding destination, but my wife and I are in our mid fifties and enjoyed using a canoe to access distant flats. We did get tired of always going into the wind and current but isn't that always the case? Baycaner Resort is clean and more than adequate for our needs. We rented a truck and canoe for the trip and enjoyed exploring every road on the island. The fish are huge here, our average bonefish was over 7 pounds. We saw fish around 14 pounds but never caught any over 30 inches. - Would you recommend this trip to a friend?:
