Of course it was the quality of the fishing but I will go into that later. The true highlight had to be the Lake Rotoroa Lodge. I own a fishing lodge and pride myself on a consistent service that is second to none. This lodge is corporately owned but managed by a couple. Brent & Sharleen Hyde not met but exceeded all our expectation. The hospitality was on or above many 5 star properties that I have visited around the world, fishing or resort. It was as good as moment we arrive until the day we left. Combined with great food service and top chef, we could not have asked for more. Being that we were couples they were very cognizant of that and catered to the ladies on and above the call of duty. Setting up non- fishing day trips and other activities to make it truly a complete experience for all our party. - Would you recommend this trip to a friend?:
